UPPER LANTZVILLE

Upper Lantzville is located on the northern border of the City of Nanaimo and south of the City of Parksville.
Lantzville’s Mission Statement is to “Provide a high level of affordable services in an environmentally and economically sustainable fashion while managing growth of the Community and respecting the unique rural character and charm.”
Upper Lantzville has many large acreages as well as a good mix of single family homes on generally .25-.50 acre lots. The Foot Hills development may well be British Columbia’s most researched and ecologically sound master-planned community. Sustainability isn’t just a buzz word here; it’s a way of life.

They have set aside more than half of the entire development as a natural park and preserved the natural habitat on 75% of each home lot. Combine them and you get a startling mass of pristine wilderness – about 1,400 acres in all, or 75% of the whole Foot Hills community.
There is also approximately 25 industrial operations in the industrial area at the base of Upper Lantzville parallel to the Inland highway with optimal exposure and affordable lease rates.
