EXTENSION
Here is where you will find many outdoor enthusiasts residing. Extension sits on the verge of the city limits and runs into the Regional District of Nanaimo. There is a good mix of single family homes on larger lots at affordable prices. It’s a great area to raise a family as it is close to downtown but gives the feeling of living in the country. The amazing Nanaimo river runs through extension making it a very busy location in the Summer months. Some of the filming for the Twilight Series was filmed here along the river. There are endless hiking and biking trails to keep you active and exploring.
